Google Maps: Google is constantly updating its AI chatbot model Gemini to make it a better phone assistant for users. Google has released another new update for this, through which when users ask for map navigation i.e. directions, Gemini will automatically start maps navigation.
New feature in Gemini
When users command navigate to (location name) or take me to (location name), Gemini will automatically show users a summary of that route and the time it will take to reach the destination. What is the total distance etc. Apart from this, users will also be able to see the route map and after that they will also be able to see the direction.
This is a feature that Gemini can handle directly with the Google Maps extension instead of going through the old Assistant. After a few seconds, Gemini opens Google Maps with auto-routed routes to give users a hands-free experience and shorten the process.
Voice command also got better
According to the latest update for Gemini app on Google Play Store, it will include the following features:
- Now users can also use voice to set calendar entries and reminders in their Gemini app.
- Apart from this, Google has also updated the voice command of Gemini, through which the feature of auto submit has come in it. This means that users will not need to click the send button.
However, out of all these features, the most attractive and most useful feature is Google Maps. To find the route in Google Maps, users had to repeatedly touch their phones while driving a bike or car, but now with their voice commands, Gemini will automatically do the entire work of the map.
